Amazing curries, noodles, soups, salads. Closest I've come to REAL Singaporean food since being there. Matahari 124th Street at the end of Jasper Ave. Sort of Asian fusion, Indian, Malay, Thai. Mostly Japanese guys cooking, I know my student from Tokyo got a job there. 4th and Vine, wine bar 11358 104th Ave, http://www.4thandvine.ca/. We go there for wine tastings/food pairings and they have movie night where you can watch a movie while you have dinner and wine. Always great wine choices. Staff is great, ambience is fantastic. I happen to also have my art up there right now. Khazana Indian restaurant, 107 st and about 103 Ave. http://www.khazana.ab.ca/test.htm - great lunch buffet for $10 or $15 (can't remember). A bit on the pricey side for dinner though - last time was $80 for two of us. Some of our faves include:
